Dr. Soroush Korivand is an Assistant Professor in the Michael W. Hall School of Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University. His research focuses on advancing AI-powered robotics for human augmentation in manufacturing and rehabilitation. By leveraging technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, data-driven control, and neurophysiological signal processing, his work enhances human–robot collaboration in manufacturing and healthcare. Dr. Korivand is also passionate about STEM education and is committed to mentoring students in AI, robotics, automation, and advanced sensing and actuator technologies.
